Team Sport Warm-up

Happy Monday! Here's this week's Prep Series written by Coach Wes.


Prep The Hip: Mini Band Legs 1 

  • 2 Rounds (band around knees)
    • 10 Forward "C" Steps 
    • 10 Backward "C" Steps
    • 10 lateral steps each direction 
    • 10 Squats

Prep The Shoulder: Scap Series

  • 2 rounds x 8-12 Reps Each 
    • Pull-up position (hanging)
    • Push-up position
    • Dip position
    • Low Rings in Push-Up position (if available)

Connect Through the Core: Chopper Series

  • 2 x 10 Each w/ Small plate or med-ball
    • Side to Side Swings
    • Squat and "Toss" Overhead
    • Split Stance Low → High Chop (Both Legs)
    • Standing Figure 8’s

Get Moving: Ankle Tag

  • One athlete stands, the other athlete holds a bear crawl position. The athlete that is standing tries to tag the ankles of the other, while the athlete in the bear crawl position moves around
